The story of the ministry of Jesus Christ was on record in the book of Matthew 14:13-21 and the Gospel of John 6:5-15 and the picture that we can take the above that there are 4 characters that represent the Christian believers today;
The first figure, is The Most. We see here a lot of people to follow Jesus but with wrong motives, their motivation to follow Jesus instead of the true faith but only because they want to see miracles.
And there are also so many people who want healing miracles occur in his life but to accept Him as Savior / messiah is almost no sense in their minds. How can they accept Him as Savior, He is the son of a carpenter but why He can perform miracles? That’s what a debate throughout the history, habits of a group of people a lot of this is when they’ve hit on the state where money is no longer reliable, physician or physicians have raised their hands can not do anything, they just want to give up their lives to the choice Their last; “Whatever it heal me.”
Where is God when they are happy? When they are rich? When they rank? When they were in high social status? When they fulfilled? God only stored in a cupboard in the book of the holy book, which can only be opened once a week or once a year if they have any free time and joy in the heart.
The second figure, is Philip. Gospel of John 6:5-7 noted: “When Jesus looked around Him and saw that the people in droves to come to Him, He said to Philip,” Where are we going to buy bread, so they can eat? “This is He said to test him, for He Himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, “two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for them, that each may take a little.”
Philip is one of the disciples of Jesus are in the order of the Apostles is the fifth named after John (Luke 6:12-16), and he also had brought the Greeks came to Jesus (John 12:20-22). But we see here is Philip Faith Faith filled with logic, he measures the prices of Faith was only reached the number two hundred dinars, and he thought it would not be enough.

Faith is filled with logic will not be able to see the glory of God. We may not have a state like Philip to feed a lot of people with money are limited, but we may face financial problems in our families where we have to struggle amid a difficult economy we may lose jobs, we may have to pay the arrears-overdue debt us while our finances are not sufficient, the need for the future of our children in the study or whatever it is, and we feel that it is impossible to get out of the question.
Jesus can solve problems that we face. And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, He stood by the lake of Gennesaret, and saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
And He entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that He would thrust out a little from the land. And He sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. when He had left speaking, He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
And Simon answering said unto Him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Philip and Simon face as well that we are facing today but they want to obey the command. God wants us to want to leave deeper in knowing the truth of the Word of God because He wants to bless us, whether we want to use logic or faith adherence to the problems we face? Thanks are waiting for us in obedience.
The third figure, was Andrew. Gospel of John 6:8-9, noting: “One of his disciples, Andrew brother of Simon Peter said to him:” Here there is a child who has five barley loaves and two fishes, but what are they among so many ? “
Many things which God created miracles before the eyes of the disciples but Andrew, the five barley loaves and two fish is food that does not mean to fifteen thousand people, if we do not wear eye of faith in this life and all things that we do not look there will be hope and maybe we will see the shadows of life that are not clear because we do not believe in Him.
Waves of life may be hitting our lives, and we’ll say I will fall God …! What is left to us now? speck of Faith? Speck believe? a speck of hope? a speck of talent? Or even the smallest of our lives. God wants to use it for exceptional cases to the glory of his name but to where do we trust to Him.
Peter in his fear began to sink when she felt the breeze as he walked on water to meet Jesus. What does this say of the Lord Jesus? “Men who lack confidence, why do you hesitate?” (Matthew 14:30-31). Storms may come, the waves may hit us but our faith views let it stay focused on Jesus and we will see the miraculous and extraordinary things, God will do for us.
The fourth character, is a small child, the Gospel of John 6:9, notes: “Here there is a child who has five barley loaves and two fishes, but what are they among so many?”. The ministry of Jesus is not limited by age, social status, or one ethnic group but includes a universal service. And this kid give an idea of sincerity, not selfish and believe in the true faith.
He believes Jesus and give all his property to be able to bless many people and he believes that he will not lose anything if he gives what Jesus asked. Why would a small child that gives the five barley loaves and two fish to Jesus, whether the adults did not bring lunch, in addition to small children?
Sometimes distrust and fear of losing one’s own selfish often makes us so shut the eyes of our hearts to bless others, we may even have more confidence to the money or our possessions than we believe in Jesus as a source of blessing.
Day night wore on, the life of this world will disappear with all its desires, the world is crying in its destruction and many people who need our help, whether maybe they were hungry for the Word of God or they are silent in their selfishness, which is obviously God still loves them and God requires the heart like a child to serve them. Do we have a heart?
