Abortion, Can or Not?

Disagreement about the abortion issue is complicated variety of aspects, legal, theological, ethical, social and personal. This problem is also a very emotional topic, because touching the ins and outs of sexuality and reproduction, and often involves painful problems of an emergency.

What is at stake in the abortion issue is no less than the teachings of our faith about God and man, or more sharply again, the sovereignty of God and the sanctity of human life. All Christians believe that God is all-powerful is the only provider, maintainer, and taker of life.

On the one hand is He who gives life and breath and all things to all people. The Bible says: "For in Him we live, we move, we have, as has been well said by the poet-poet you: Because we are the offspring of God, too." (Acts 17:28). On the other hand, as the psalmist says to God, "If thou hide thy face, they were surprised; if you take their spirit, they die perish and return to dust." (Psalm 104:29).

For Christians to give life and take life is the divine prerogative, and although we can not interpret the command "You should not kill" as an absolute prohibition, because the same laws that prohibit murder, confirmed also in certain situations (for instance the death penalty and holy war).
But taking a human life is a divine prerogative, that may be done only by men of divine mandate. Without this mandate, killing human life is a cruel act that is not of this world.

How any early-stage human embryo in which it was, but everyone must admit that the fetus was alive and it is a human fetus, which is why the practice of abortion reflects a rejection of the biblical view of human dignity. For God the Creator loves us and connect himself to us long before we can respond through a conscious relationship with Him and not because we know him, but because He knows us too not because we love God, but because He has poured the love to us. Thus, we are all already become a person in the womb of our mothers, because mothers are still in the womb, we've known and loved by God.
