Deepest level of worship is praising God despite the suffering, give thanks to Him at the time of trial, hoping in Him when tempted, surrendering while suffering, and love Him when He feels distant. To mature we are, God will test him with hard times that it felt like God abandoned us or forget us.
A real God does not really leave us, Hebrews 13:5 says: 'Do not become slaves of money and ends with you is what you have. Because God has said: "I'm never going to let you and I never will forsake thee." But there are moments when he seemed to disappear from our lives when we wake in the morning where we feel our spiritual feeling like a lost and was bland, but we pray there are no answers to prayer, we drive out evil spirits, but it does not change anything, we do exercises spiritual exercises ... we ask friends to pray for us ... we confess every sin ... we fast ... still no nothing.
We began to wonder to myself, how long this will last the spiritual gloom? days? weeks? many months? Will this ever end? It felt as if our prayers just hit the ceiling. In desperation we would ask, what's wrong with me?
This is a normal part of the testing and maturing us to God, every Christian would have experienced it and it will be very painful and unpleasant taste, but it is very important for the development of our faith. Job still had hope when he could not feel God's presence in his life. He said: "Verily, if I walked to the east, he was not there, or west, I found Him not; in the north looking for Him, He does not look, I turned south, I do not see Him. Because he knows the way my life; if he tested me, I will arise such as gold. (Job 23:8-10).
When God seemed far away, we might think that he is angry or is punishing us because of sin. In fact, sin is to separate us from our fellowship with God, we grieve the Spirit of God and extinguish our fellowship with Him through disobedience, conflict with others, or we rush to forget God, could also be because of our friendship with the world, and the sins other. Any test that requires us to come to love, trust, obey and worship God, even when we do not feel His presence.
God wants us to feel His presence, but He prefers us to trust Him than we feel Him. Not a pleasant feeling of God's faith. Situations that can enlarge our faith are times when life can be messy and God is not found everywhere. This happened to Job in one day he lost everything, family, business, health, and everything he has.
How we can praise God when we do not understand what's happening in our lives and God, how we can keep in touch with God in a crisis without communication? How can we keep looking at Jesus when our eyes full of tears? We can do what Job did: "Then Job stood up and tore his robe, and shaved his head, then she fell down and worshiped, he said:" With the naked I emerged from my mother's womb, naked also I will get back into it. The Lord who gave LORD, who took, blessed be the name of the Lord! " (Job 1:20-21).
When we felt abandoned by God but we still believe in Him, we are to worship Him with the deepest way!
