Gospel of Luke 4:1-13: "Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. There being forty days tempted of Satan. Over there he did not eat anything and after that time he was hungry.
Then the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. "
Jesus answered him: "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone."

Then he took him to a high place and in a trice he showed Him all the kingdoms of the world. The devil said to him: "All that power and glory will I give thee, for all these things have been handed over to me and I give it to anyone who want to do. So if you worship me, all will be Yours. "But Jesus said to him:" It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve! "

Then he brought him to Jerusalem and put him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here, for it is written: About You, He will command His angels to protect you, and they will hold you in his hands, so your feet do not stumble on stones. "Jesus answered, saying:" There shall not tempt the Lord thy God! "

When the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him and waiting for a good time. Perhaps we imagine there were three separate incidents that spread within forty days in the wilderness, but in reality, the temptation was coming nonstop. When the full forty days used Satan to tempt Jesus, Satan did not want to let go of this golden opportunity every step Jesus is whispering back and every turn of his journey there is a sprinkling of doubt.

To be sure, Jesus Man experience inner struggle but that does not make He resigned, he never ceased to fulfill the Father's plan to save mankind. Hebrews 12:2 presents an interesting statement, 'Since we have many witnesses, like a cloud that surrounds us, let us lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely, and run with patience the race that is set before us.

Let us do it with eyes that turned to Jesus, who leads us in faith, and who brought it to the perfection of our faith, which by ignoring diligently carried the cross dressing humiliation joy reserved for him who now sits on the right hand of the throne of God '.
Jesus does not care that dying on the cross it is a shameful thing.
The shame of it like a disgrace, an insult! Can we imagine the horror that we feel if anyone knows and played it again an embarrassing incident in a videotaped and watched by many people. That's what Jesus felt. Why? He never did anything embarrassing, but we are embarrassing.
And because the cross God made Him to be sin, 2 Corinthians 5:21 says: "He who knew no sin has made him become sin for us, so that in him we are justified by God."
Jesus was filled with shame. He was humiliated in front of his family. Stripped naked in front of the mother and in front of all humans. Forced to take up the cross to stumble because of the weight. Humiliated in front of his church. The pastors and elders of his day mocking him.
Humiliated in front of the city of Jerusalem, Condemned to death as criminals.

But a sense of shame in front of people is not worth the embarrassment in front of His Father. Shame we each feel is too much to bear, perhaps we are willing to die for a righteous man but can we willing to die for the guilty and a sin? Can we imagine the collective shame of the whole human race which is borne by one person? Wave after wave of shame overwritten to Jesus, though He never deceive He was sentenced as a cheater, even if he never stole, he is considered a thief, although he never lied, he considered a liar.

Although he was never anxious, he must bear the shame of people who commit adultery, though he always believed, he must bear the shame of people who do not believe.
How is it bravely bear the shame like that? What gave Jesus the strength to bear the embarrassment the whole world? All because He loves us! Like Jesus, we too experienced the trials, like Jesus we are also accused, like Jesus we too embarrassed, but not like Jesus we admit defeat, we escaped.

How can we have a heart like Jesus? What should we do? Focus!
Hebrews 12:2 says, "let us do it with eyes that turned to Jesus, who leads us in faith, and who brought it to the perfection of our faith, which by ignoring diligently carried the cross dressing humiliation joy reserved for him who now sits on the right hand of the throne of God. "
