Sacrifice

Gospel of Luke 4:1-13: "Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. There being forty days tempted of Satan. Over there he did not eat anything and after that time he was hungry.

When the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him and waiting for a good time. Jesus does not care that dying on the cross it is a shameful thing.
The shame of it like a disgrace, an insult! Can we imagine the horror that we feel if anyone knows and played it again an embarrassing incident in a videotaped and watched by many people. That's what Jesus felt. Why? He never did anything embarrassing, but we are embarrassing.
And because the cross God made Him to be sin, 2 Corinthians 5:21 says: "He who knew no sin has made him become sin for us, so that in him we are justified by God."
Jesus was filled with shame. He was humiliated in front of his family. Stripped naked in front of the mother and in front of all humans. Forced to take up the cross to stumble because of the weight. Humiliated in front of his church. The pastors and elders of his day mocking him.
Humiliated in front of the city of Jerusalem, Condemned to death as criminals.

But a sense of shame in front of people is not worth the embarrassment in front of His Father. Shame we each feel is too much to bear, perhaps we are willing to die for a righteous man but can we willing to die for the guilty and a sin? Can we imagine the collective shame of the whole human race which is borne by one person? Wave after wave of shame overwritten to Jesus, though He never deceive He was sentenced as a cheater, even if he never stole, he is considered a thief, although he never lied, he considered a liar.

Although he was never anxious, he must bear the shame of people who commit adultery, though he always believed, he must bear the shame of people who do not believe.
How is it bravely bear the shame like that? What gave Jesus the strength to bear the embarrassment the whole world? All because He loves us! Like Jesus, we too experienced the trials, like Jesus we are also accused, like Jesus we too embarrassed, but not like Jesus we admit defeat, we escaped.

How can we have a heart like Jesus? What should we do? Focus!
